<—— A quick reminder to Retweet if you enjoy the post … Thanks!

I hope everyone has been enjoying their Christmas holiday … I know we sure have. We’ll have a late Christmas celebration with some of Ken’s family over the next couple of days, then home overnight and then we’ll be heading to the dirt bike park to meet some friends for a few days (over the New Year) for some trail riding and some camping.

I’ll post some pictures and a recap here soon … and I’d love to hear what everyone else has been up to also.

59591f84-593a-473d-826e-627d88387f98w21I plan on starting a new online business and I’m really excited about it! I am a huge fan of Traffic Geyser and they are offering a “business in a box” type system with training to go out and help brick and mortar businesses get to the first page of Google using video creation and submission.

Truthfully, I know first hand that this is pretty simple competing in the local markets.

I was going to get this system just for my own businesses and for my husband’s business but I think I’m going to have some fun doing this for others as well. It’s very lucrative and I could use a boost in income right now (who couldn’t right?).

Check it Out Here: Traffic Geyser

Let me know if you are interesting in doing this and maybe we can get a group together and brainstorm and support each other. *SmiLes* Suzanne

Watch this video it explains it better than I could LOL

NOTE: There is an email opt in to see the awesome videos of two people who have done this successfully already. Even if you’re not interested in this particular system I learned a great deal watching the videos they have posted there so it’s worth your time I promise.

A Lesson in Procrastination = Anthony Lost a Bet LOL (Video)

*

<—— A quick reminder to Retweet if you enjoy the post … Thanks!

I’ve had a crazy busy week! In a good way. LOL. I’ve been trying to organize all of my sites (there are a ton of them *sigh*) and I’m evaluating each site, prioritizing them, figuring out what each site needs, looking for sites that I many need to drop (or handle differently), and just plain trying to get organized with my work. I have so much going on that sometimes I’m overwhelmed and I know I get less accomplished because of the disorganization.

So new news on my business partnership with Anthony too. We decided to get Anthony set up on his own blog (http://www.anthonyaugugliaro.com) and it’s been a great decision that we’re both really excited about. It gives him a chance to find his “voice” and niche without having to “tag along” on my site. LOL. Go check it out!

Meanwhile, we decided we’d team up on a niche site and we’re both super stoked to see what we can do with the site. It will be wine related (still deciding on the exact niche) and we’ll announce how we conquer the site as a team as soon as we get all of the details ironed out. This lead to me prompting Anthony to get his feet wet with his own niche store/site and this really got F-U-N! Anthony has been putting off starting his own site since we met (like a year and a half?!) so as any good friend would do … I started to push and get bossy! LOL. Well, he started his keyword research and he promised to follow some steps and do some “homework” by a certain time and he didn’t follow through (completely – and I’m a stickler) so he lost the bet he made with me. You can see how he made good in the video below.

As for my niche stores, I can’t believe it! After I just did my update post telling you how my income was cut fairly drastically with eBay/EPN and how I was looking for ways to diversify and drive less traffic to eBay … I’m on track to have my best month ever with them! Geez … I just don’t get at all how they are calculating my clicks or my income. I guess I need to take the time to go to their blog and forum and read up on this new payout. *sigh* So … I’ll keep you posted as the month progresses (let’s say that through the 9th of December I’m already over my November total).

I hope you’re having a great month. Please share any questions you have either in the comments section or via my Contact page and I’ll help in any way I can. *SmiLes* Suzanne

Winner of the Signed Book, “Crush It”

*

<—— A quick reminder to Retweet if you enjoy the post … Thanks!

I want to thank each of you who participated in my little giveaway of Gary Vaynerchuk’s, “Crush It” here on the blog. There were a total of 13 entries. I put each participant on a spreadsheet, went to Random.org and entered the info (numbers 1-13) and it randomly drew the number 10. The signed book goes to ConfessionsMom … congratulations! Check out her site … it’s a team of mom writers who share their parenting experiences, tips and tricks, recipes, reviews and more.

If you didn’t win this copy of the book and you haven’t read it I really do highly recommend it to anyone who wants to have an online business. It’s very motivating and gives some great ideas too. It is based on finding your passion (I know you’ve heard that quite a bit from me too – so you know I agree) and how once you do you can have a business that won’t feel like “work” but will just be a part of who you are.

I also found the cliff notes for Crush It on Cliff Note Book Reviews so you can check it out there too.

I’ve seen some awesome deals on the book on both Amazon and on eBay so check there if you’d like to purchase your own copy. For your own signed copy you can take a look at Gary’s signing schedule.

Thanks again to all who participated!

Have you read the book “Crush It”? if so, did you enjoy it? Have you followed Gary on his vlogging adventures for Wine Library TV? Let us hear from you. *SmiLes* Suzanne

Link Love

<—— A quick reminder to Retweet if you enjoy the post … Thanks!

Well … I love to read other blogs and I “get to” as many as time permits throughout the week.

I’ve always loved when other bloggers share their favorite posts and I’m going to share mine from this week (they were not all written this week but I just discovered them LOL).

In no particular order:

Comply With the FTC’s New Blogger Disclosure Rules With Amusing Icons

Adam Ostrow wrote a post and included some awesome (funny) icons designed by illustrator, Jeannine Schafer. They are icons/images for those of us who are trying to comply with the new FTC rules. Check them out!

Looking To Get More Twitter Followers? Then Check Twitfever.com

Daniel Scocco, Daily Blog Tips, has a new Twitter tool (Twit Fever) that will help you get new (targeted) followers. It has some awesome features including: multiple account management, follow from profile tool, auto follow tool, mass unfollow tool, auto tweet tool, retweet club, statistics, and more.

I’m currently trying out the tool and I’ll be doing a full review here soon.

Why I Created My 100 Fresh Blog List of CommentLuv for Daily Comments?

I ran into an awesome list of blogs written by Hesham, Zebida.com, where he’s outlined blogs that use the CommentLuv plugin. I honestly didn’t even know I was on the list LOL … but I am and I’m thrilled to be there.

How Much Did We Make on Amazon This Month?

I read this awesome post by Wanda and Paula, AffiliateBlogOnline.com, where they discuss their decision to integrate the Amazon affiliate program into their niche stores and they are kicking ass with it! This really motivated me because I’m just getting started with Amazon now that my eBay earnings are headed south.

This is a must read for affiliate marketers!

I AM NOT HAPPY AS I CLOSE MY DAY!

Well, I was saddened to read Ginger’s post on AttentionTargetShoppers, where she posted about how her BlogSpot blog was flagged as spam and could be shut down by Blogger. I have never been a fan of using a hosted/community blog service for a business blog and this is a perfect example. She posts awesome coupons and shopping help so at her busiest time of year it’s natural she’s going to post more frequently … this should NOT cause her to lose the blog she’s worked so hard on over the years. I will reiterate … BlogSpot/Blogger and WordPress.com blogs are great for hobby blogs …  but not for business!

I’m so sorry this happened to Ginger and I’m happy to see that she’ll be moving over to a self-hosted blog (UPDATE: New Blog: http://attentiontargetshoppers.com/).

Do you do any link love type posts on your blog? As a reader do you find them helpful and/or interesting? How was your week? What do you have planned for next week? *SmiLes* Suzanne

Analyzing Backlinks (Video Tutorial)

*

<—— A quick reminder to Retweet if you enjoy the post … Thanks!

There are so many factors that go into starting and promoting a successful site/blog. If you’ve read my blog for any amount of time (if you’re new to the blog welcome!) then you already know how I feel that keyword research and SEO (search engine optimzation) or two of the most important factors to being successful online.

Whenever I’m doing keyword research I also do some “competition” research right along with it. I go look at the top 5 to 10 results and I “size” them up. One of the things I’m looking for is the number and quality of inbound backlinks to the pages I’d be competing with … make sense?

This video i found on YouTube does a great job showing exactly what I do to analyze backlinks for the pages I plan on competing with and it’s worth the watch.

So … Do you do keyword research? Do you also anaylze the pages that come up first in the search engine results? Do you check the backlinks to those pages? Will you from now on? LOL. Let us hear from you. *SmiLes* Suzanne
