A Lesson in Procrastination = Anthony Lost a Bet LOL (Video)

<—— A quick reminder to Retweet if you enjoy the post … Thanks!

I’ve had a crazy busy week! In a good way. LOL. I’ve been trying to organize all of my sites (there are a ton of them *sigh*) and I’m evaluating each site, prioritizing them, figuring out what each site needs, looking for sites that I many need to drop (or handle differently), and just plain trying to get organized with my work. I have so much going on that sometimes I’m overwhelmed and I know I get less accomplished because of the disorganization.

So new news on my business partnership with Anthony too. We decided to get Anthony set up on his own blog (http://www.anthonyaugugliaro.com) and it’s been a great decision that we’re both really excited about. It gives him a chance to find his “voice” and niche without having to “tag along” on my site. LOL. Go check it out!

Meanwhile, we decided we’d team up on a niche site and we’re both super stoked to see what we can do with the site. It will be wine related (still deciding on the exact niche) and we’ll announce how we conquer the site as a team as soon as we get all of the details ironed out. This lead to me prompting Anthony to get his feet wet with his own niche store/site and this really got F-U-N! Anthony has been putting off starting his own site since we met (like a year and a half?!) so as any good friend would do … I started to push and get bossy! LOL. Well, he started his keyword research and he promised to follow some steps and do some “homework” by a certain time and he didn’t follow through (completely – and I’m a stickler) so he lost the bet he made with me. You can see how he made good in the video below.

As for my niche stores, I can’t believe it! After I just did my update post telling you how my income was cut fairly drastically with eBay/EPN and how I was looking for ways to diversify and drive less traffic to eBay … I’m on track to have my best month ever with them! Geez … I just don’t get at all how they are calculating my clicks or my income. I guess I need to take the time to go to their blog and forum and read up on this new payout. *sigh* So … I’ll keep you posted as the month progresses (let’s say that through the 9th of December I’m already over my November total).

I hope you’re having a great month. Please share any questions you have either in the comments section or via my Contact page and I’ll help in any way I can. *SmiLes* Suzanne

P.S. Would you like some help making money online? Did you know that sites like Amazon and eBay will pay you to help them sell items that are listed for sale on their site? I can show you how I do it k? Click the banner below or contact me here for more info!

Oddly enough my lack of speakers makes no difference today. I don’t even have to press play to see he lost a bet…big time. LOL!

You do a lot, but your work brings not only income, but in a good mood to others. I am always pleased to see updates on your site.

Haha, this is great, you guys are such sweet friends. I am amazed at how Anthony found a pink guitar to go with his pink outfit! He looks great in pink by the way, brings out his skin tone… 😉

Wow! Remind me to never place a bet with you!

If you ever make the time to really sit down and figure out ebay/EPN clicks and payouts please let us know as I’m just as confused as you are!

LOL even if I made a bet with consequences like that, I’d probably lose too. I’m so bad with procrastinating. Great sport though!

Such a great lesson to prioritise the work. It is so easy to do the easy stuff and not the valuable stuff! Just get on and do it!
Fantastic to be working as a team where you can “push” each other in the right direction – one of the difficulties of working in this business is that team isn’t always as easy to put together.

No … you’re right … it’s very difficult to be isolated and alone on your quest … and to make yourself go to “work” every day. 😉

I love your blog. It’s so important to just get started, instead of worrying about getting started. I’ve really been working on procrastination in my own life. The most important part of working is showing up to work : )

Hi David ~ Thanks for the feedback … getting started is almost always the biggest hurdle … whether it’s a new business or even a new aspect of an existing business … I’m trying to get better at “just do it” … I over analyze everything! LOL and I don’t get things done because of it. Something is better than nothing and you can always go back and improve once you start. 😉

Seems like you guys have an amazing partnership. Can’t stress enough the value in that. It’s always nice to have someone who can learn things from, someone who pretty much thinks the same way as you do.
