I have been a forum member since June and I have learned a LOT about blogging and about my WordPress blogs from Kevin and the other members of the forum.
Of course with the contest going on it’s a great time to be an active member because the forum is very active and you can ask (and answer) about whatever comes to mind and it’s really fun.
I’d love to get to know you better through interacting on the forum so be sure you introduce yourself once you’re on there. I know there are a lot more readers of my blog then those who comment but on the forum we can actually communicate very easily.
Join in … learn a lot … earn some cash and/or prizes … and help me out too (well … I do get some referral credits LOL).

Hi … My name is Suzanne Franco (Land) and I’m a wife (newlywed actually) and mother to 5 amazing kids (my 3 and his 2 – ages 9 to 16) and we live in the Texas Hill Country where we try to spend a lot of time in the water (river, boating, wakeboarding, the beach, etc.) and running from one kid’s sporting event to the other (mainly football, cheerleading, and soccer).

Im pretty new to this, but the forums I like right now are digital point, and warrior…but I guess those are pretty well established right?

I have been hearing all about forums and I am getting confused. What is the difference between a forum and a bulletin board and a message board? Or are they all the same thing?

Pretty much the same as mentioned, but the two you mentioned are considered “old school”…today’s forums have a lot more features.

I have a carpet cleaning business in Houston,TX that was doing pretty good until the economy went bad, and with it my clientele. I have a website for the business but I dont
know what I have to do the get it to show up in a search. Right now it’s somewhere in the yahoo/google netherworld (LOL).
Is there someone on here that can give me some insight or know of anyone that coud give me insight on how I can get my local website on the front
page of a Yahoo or Google search to increase my business without it costing me 5 or 10k $$$? If so please share with me.
