Well … we’ve planned our next trip to Mexico and I’m soooo stoked! In early June we’ll be taking kids down to the resort where we took our honeymoon, Dreams Puerto Aventuras, in the Riviera Maya area about 45 minutes from Cancun. It’s an all-inclusive resort and we’ll be totally spoiled. LOL We’ll also be in our bathing suits much of the time … so that means the race is on for me to lose some weight and tone up.
Since I was journaling my food and exercise and taking before and after pictures I decided to put up a blog and share my tips and ideas with others who would also like to look great in their swimsuit http://www.bikiniafter40.com. Why am I sharing that with you? Well, I am building this blog from the ground up so I thought some of you might want want to follow along and see what I do to set it up, to drive traffic, build backlinks, do the SEO, monetize, etc.
If you’d be interested in watching me I’ll be posting every so often here on the blog at suzannefranco.com and I’d love to hear any questions you have about what I’m doing with the site. I’d also love to have your feedback on the blog itself. What do you think of the concept? Of the look and feel? Of the content? All thoughts are welcome of course!

Hi … My name is Suzanne Franco (Land) and I’m a wife (newlywed actually) and mother to 5 amazing kids (my 3 and his 2 – ages 9 to 16) and we live in the Texas Hill Country where we try to spend a lot of time in the water (river, boating, wakeboarding, the beach, etc.) and running from one kid’s sporting event to the other (mainly football, cheerleading, and soccer).

Great spin on a weight loss idea. I always see sites advertising how to get younger. Your showing women how to embrace there age and 40 doesn’t mean it’s all down hill.

and I truly believe most women do. Unfortunately, we have kids … age a little … and the harder it gets to take weight off and keep it off … the more likely we “give up” and just say, “it is what it is.” Extra weight will not only do a number on your self-esteem but it will effect many other areas of your life … especially your health and the heavier you get the less likely you feel like staying active so it’s a big vicious cycle. I want to break the cycle and get back into shape and look great too … and I’m willing to help anyone else who is committed to doing so as well! *SmiLes*

Suzanne, I just started the P90X workout system and it has already showed some incredible results. They offer a full rounded exercise / nutrition plan that you can out for 6 out of 7 days. The workouts are extreme but the results are amazing.
The only problem I find with the program is finding the time to devote to it each day. So far so good. No pain, no gain as they say.
