I'm also a PC user, played a few times with a mac, didn't notice any advantages; both the interface design and the product design doesn't attract me. I am a certified PC technician, and I have owned and used both Mac and PC, and using DOS, Win9x, and OS 7-X. I am expert in both OS.I set up my G4 to be my media center, but took it apart because it was too difficult to teach my wife how to swap files and switch between the two computers. MacOS doesn’t crash? I have crashed it many times. I’ve repaired my share of towers and notebooks, too. I agree about the one-button mouse! And face it, most of the software and games are on the PC. Now Mac is great for my dad, who is a PC dummy and will only touch a Mac (which he can still screw up by accident).

I’m a gamer from way back, and originally an Amiga fanatic. I was like Mac fanatics are these days. Mac fanatics come across as if they are better than PC users as if they have special dispensation from the pope, because they have the better hardware (and OS). But back then, when Mac was B&W and PC was 4 colors with beeps, Amiga had 4096 colors and stereo sound. Nowadays, with minute variations, Mac and PC are pretty much even re: hardware and OS. However, I do drool over that 8-core Xeon Powermac! But I reel my tongue in every time I read the price tag!

My Mac is in storage now and I only use my PC anymore. But I wouldn’t turn down a free Macbook!

The second I went from a PC to a Mac, things got soooooo much easier! It was faster to move around and if a program ever froze, I could easily just restart that program as opposed to having to restart the whole computer (which was pretty cool). However, there were quite a few programs that I couldn't run on a mac so I had to revert to my pc. That was ok with me though, I didn't mind much. Later I downloaded parallels which allows me to run a pc on the mac tho and I could switch between both the pc and the mac. Would I recommend a mac? Most definitely! Hi Suzanne, I recently bought a PC laptop but wanted to finally try a Mac for the security and reliability I hear about. Turns out Macs are much more expensive. I’ll check out the contest, I’m too cheap to pay for one so perhaps now there’s a chance to get one free

Hi Suzzane, missed your comments on my Blog! =) Any-hoo, I am a PC user still, although it seems like everyone is transitioning to a mac. My youngest sister has a mac now and i use it from time to time just to kinda get a feel for it. I don't know when I will transition to being a Mac user though... heheheh... Right Mac users are of two sorts!

1. Dumb fashion types that like the look of it on their desk and are too thick to even use it.
2. Creative types who feel the need for a mac yet there is not real proff a like for like is that much better

PC Users, well, they are all sorts of people as PC’s come in all shapes and sizes and all sorts of spec. They can be cheap or costly , powerful or week.

“…But PCs always crash and macs NEVER do!” this is utter rubbish!

People who think PCs are bad should consider that Bill Gates mad a GUI that has changed all our lives and if someone is too dumb to use a PC properly cos they brought some package from PC World then stuff them. You would never get angry at anyone who crashes a car as it is not Fords fault is the drunk fool behind the wheel.

It’s been so fun to watch all of these comments come in … I had a feeling most would be fairly loyal to one or the other … and I noticed that “D” uses both … and I wondered how common that is since both seem to have their strengths and weaknesses. Hi Suzanne, I am new to this site so I have a bit of reading to catch up on. To answer your question, if I could go Mac tomorrow I would. I want to upgrade my PC, but I have heard so many bad things about Vista I don't know what to do. If i go down the Mac road alot of my software won't work. And there is the problem. On a side note - I was just wondering who or what your make money online business model is based on?
