Welcome to the Franco Family “Mother – Son” Competition!

I’m Suzanne Franco Land (<— new married name) and my 13 year old son, Austin, has challenged me to a niche site “showdown” … and I’ve gladly accepted his challenge.

What’s this “competition” all about?

Well, Austin and I are going to test our abilities to build and promote a niche site of our choice.

Originally we were going to build eBay affiliate stores but shortly after we came up with the idea of having a contest I happened onto a badass site (Niche Classroom) that specializes in building and promoting niche sites … but not the eBay or Amazon type sites where we’re selling tangible products … but instead sites where we sell our own information products (eBooks, audio books, etc.).

We want to invite you to follow along as we each set up our niche sites and make a business out of them. You can watch over our shoulders as we build them from the ground up … and then as we promote the sites … and hopefully sell some of our information products. What Austin and I have decided to do for this “contest” is to choose the two July niche sites that are provided through the membership site and we’ll: 

• Do the necessary keyword and competition reserach 
• Choose and purchase our domain names
• Put up the ready-made sites
• Edit the site and content to make it unique
• Get the eBooks ready to sell
• Start promoting the sites (this will be HUGE!)
• Hope to sell something! LOL

We will be sharing our personal emails (and instant messages) that we send back and forth to each other where I will answer all of Austin’s questions and he will help me with brainstorming ideas for our sites. We will each be doing a lot of lessons for you via blog posts, audio and video and we truly hope to help as many people as possible through this “competition.” 

We will compete for things like number of pages indexed in the search engines, traffic to the sites, number of subscribers, sales … and whatever else we come up with that will be fun (we’re open to ideas on this so please hit us up with your thoughts on this).

Due to the amount of work we will be putting in on sharing this with you, as well as, the fact that we’ll be sharing our niches and all of our research with you … all we ask in return for these free lessons is that you opt in to our mailing lists below (when you opt in to one – it will automatically add you to the other – you can opt out of either or both at any time!). We will be password protecting these lessons so you’ll need to be on our lists to get the password to access the site pages and posts we put up. Through these lists we will also let you know when we have posted a new lesson on either site.

This should be a lot of fun to watch and I guarantee you’ll learn something along the way (guaranteed or your money back! LOL). *SmiLes* Suzanne (and Austin!)

P.S. We are building niche sites using a system that is brand new to us that we discovered on the Niche Classroom site … we will be using a lot of the knowledge and tools we’ve used for our successful eBay niche stores but these are a bit different too. I’ve already learned some awesome tricks from these guys … and I haven’t even finished the training videos yet! They have truly “earned” my business (and my endorsement) … and I’m pretty darn picky! LOL
