I’ve received a lot of emails asking me how my new business is going (blog post here: http://www.suzannefranco.com/im-starting-a-new-online-business-wanna-join-me/) so I wanted to give you an update. I purchased the Traffic Geyser “business-in-a-box” training and it included their video submission service for a year (and a bunch more quite honestly) and it was a great decision. It was $2,000 so it wasn’t for everyone but I’m at a point in my career where I was ready for it so it was well worth the investment.
I have spent a ton of time watching the tutorials (as I mention often – I’m very detailed and over analyse everything so I’m “slow” LOL) and I’ve learned a lot about how to start this business. I have also done some testing using my own businesses and so far everything is working really well. For those who aren’t familiar, the Traffic Geyser system is focused on using video submission to get page one Google results. This “business” is using that method to get local search results for offline businesses.
I can’t wait to try this for someone else’s business and so I’ll be doing some barter here soon to get my feet wet.
Did anyone here reading also start this business? If so, how’s it going? I’d love to hear from you … questions … comments? *SmiLes* Suzanne

Hi … My name is Suzanne Franco (Land) and I’m a wife (newlywed actually) and mother to 5 amazing kids (my 3 and his 2 – ages 9 to 16) and we live in the Texas Hill Country where we try to spend a lot of time in the water (river, boating, wakeboarding, the beach, etc.) and running from one kid’s sporting event to the other (mainly football, cheerleading, and soccer).

Hey Suzanne! Great to see that you are taking action on this method.
Recently I have begun taking a similar approach as one way of cashing in.
I will be offering local companies who have no idea about how to use social media the opportunity to get customized Facebook Fan-pages (and corresponding fans and promotions tied in) as well as Twitter accounts, etc. etc.
I think that in our current economy, small businesses are trying soooo hard to find cost effective ways of bringing in more customers that this can really take off right now!
I will be eager to hear your results!

Well, the underwear business is okay.
Would like to hear a little more about the video stuff you’ll be doing to promote and gain traffic from sites. That should be interesting since when people search things youtube is the first thing to show up

Hi Suzanne,
Just thought I would pop by and see how things are going. I have heard about traffic geyser at the last World Internet Summit I went to. It sounds like a great resource to use. At the moment I haven’t started using video yet. It is on my list of things to learn. So much to learn and so little time around 2 year old!
I am a big believer in paying for good education when the timing is right. I look forward to hearing more about your progress.
Kind Regards
Jacinta

Found your blog while googling. Enjoyed reading it , consider me as frequent visitor
You are right Suzanne, $2000 for training is not for everyone. But you say it is well worth it at a point in your career now? How do you assess that, like you’re expanding your business or going to other fronts you haven’t been on before? Coz I find it hard to get into another system when I’ve been doing the same thing for so long. But hey if it’s better, why not? =D

Hi Kevin ~ I used to be a Traffic Geyser subscriber and I believe I paid about $95 per month for their service and it worked very well (video submission service with a ton of other perks and tools). So … so I figure I’ve prepaid a year’s worth of monthly service and then for the business in a box plan to follow. I will be approaching local businesses who want to be found in Google and I’ll use a combination of SEO, video submission, ads and such to get them great positioning on Google. I am following the outline in the training and will be charging between $5k – $7,500 per client with some great potential for monthly residual income as well. As you can see it will more than pay for itself. I am also using these tools and methods for mine and my husband’s businesses too so it’s well worth the investment. Let me know if you have questions or if I can help you in any way and I’ll keep everyone posted on my progress. *SmiLes* Suzanne
Interesting, more vlogger aroung now. Thanks for the videos Suzanne
Are you a vlogger too? I’ll have to go check you out
Hi Suzanne,
I laughed when I saw you spent $2000 and said you’re at that part in your career, I’m still scared to spend $8 on a domain name.
But I guess we all have to start somewhere. I’m reading as much as I can about SEO and getting ranking with Google, but it’s a lot to learn and take in, and can seem redundant at times. Hopefully one day I can say I spent $2000 on something business related!
Nice blog btw!
Hello and thank you for the feedback.
It is nice to hear that everything is going great for you. I also started my business and I was impressed how well it has been! It is a lot of work but I tend to get passionate about this so that I don´t count the time and the efforts I am putting into it.
Take care

I must say that $2000 is something that you must invest if you exactly know what you’re doing. And you do obvisouly. We all do appreciate you updating us all the time with the progress of your business. Now this is what a community is all about. Thanks.
