OK … If you haven’t followed along with the Mother/Son Competition I am taking part in with my 13 year old son, Austin, you’re not going to want to miss this!
We both have our sites up (finally) and we’re about to get into the marketing and promoting phase of the sites. The way we will attack our promoting is the same as we would do for any of our other sites (very aggressively) and if you have any type of online site or business you might as well see what we’re up to.
I will say that the Niche Classroom has far exceeded my expectations as a membership site! The amount of information is nothing short of astonishing … and quite honestly I think it will take me several weeks (or months – I’m not sure yet) to get through all of the training they have posted there.
I will also say that setting up my niche site was a bit more time consuming (and possibly complicated) then I was expecting. LOL … I’m not in any way saying that it wasn’t worth it because I am very, very excited about this business model (niche sites selling information products) but I was caught off guard by all that needed to be done. With that said, it’s yet another reason why I’m confident I will be successful … most people simply don’t follow through on proven methods and that’s why they don’t make a dime online.

With a good domain name, how can I make money promoting other poker sites? My best idea so far is to make my domain a portal / landing page that houses original online poker articles and contact to draw in traffic and directs the user to poker affiliates (how do I get set up with these? Who are the best?)

Well … there’s a lot here to answer … as for the best business model – there are many. Poker affiliates I would do a google search for “poker affiliate” and see what comes up. Try Clickbank for digital eBooks on poker. If you have a lot of poker knowledge you can look to team up with an experienced online marketer … Hope this helps

This one is much better than facebook or myspace, because it is on a more professional level. You can build a profile, advertise, and get people to view your business while establishing relationships.
