Excellent description of the difference between web 1.0 and web 2.0. I’ll tell you another difference. Web 2.0 is ADDICTIVE. I love this blogging thing, but I’ve got to draw the line at blogging. I’m not ready for the “social networking” stuff because I fear that is even more addictive.

In terms of comments and subscribers, it did give me a boost and I am talking about a massive one. I wouldn't say that traffic from SU is quality because they may or may not be targeted towards our blog niche. It all depends on how appealing our content is and convert the traffic into subscribers. But there are definitely some tricks to getting a heavier traffic spike in SU. I have written about it previously on my blog and I have link it under my name. You can check out if you wish to.
